Kinesiology
Kinesiology was developed in the ‘60s in the U.S.A. as a method to restore and strengthen a person’s vitality on the physical, mental, energetic and emotional levels.
Dr. Goodheart, a chiropractor from the USA, used muscular testing to identify blockades in the spine of his patients. He developed the basic principles of kinesiology, showing that muscular tonicity weakens as soon as something disturbs us, be it a structural, biochemical or psychological disturbance.
How does a kinesiology test work?
Very soft and subtle, the muscle test senses the energetic response of the muscle, rather than its mechanical strength. It’s a natural instrument of biological feedback that allows us to ‘measure’ different kinds of stress within a person Muscles are tested again at the end of the session in order to verify the efficiency of any corrections applied.
The brain works like a computer that can be questioned via muscular testing. Through this physiological response, we have access to the consciousness of the body where information is written in our cells.
Negative emotions from our past block our perception of current times. Even physical problems can find their origin in unresolved past emotional situations. The negative energy that the body has locked away at a certain point in the past takes on various forms, such as behavioural disorder, sleeping problems, pain, fatigue, stress, feelings of loneliness, fear, doubt and so on.
The muscular testing is used to retrieve this information from the past, still engraved in our cells. We identify what is blocking you and then provide rectification, with the purpose of restoring the freedom of choice in a person’s life.
Knowing that the human being consist of many layers, corrective actions likewise target different levels:
-
physical corrections: stimulate several points, exercise and motion, nutrition,
-
mental corrections: insights in limiting belief systems, re-programming, colours, visualisation, reconnection to the inner-child, stress relief,
-
energetic corrections: Bach flower therapy, meridians, polarities,
-
spiritual corrections: reconnect with one’s Inner Strength and Essence,
The insights obtained by the person being tested during his sessions are invaluable. The aim of each session is to help the person take charge of his own life again, to restore confidence in his competence to ameliorate his own life and realise his dreams, and establish responsibility for his own life.
The kinesiologist does not impose anything. He has no project for the person he’s testing and tells him nothing that does not come forward from the test itself. The tested person actively co-operates with the session and thereby supports his own evolution
At the end of each session, the person can feel that the tested weaker parts are now testing stronger, testifying that positive changes have taken place during the session.
Thanks to the muscle work, the new positive choices of the person are now anchored in his body, and billions of cells are activated to go and apply these new choices to daily life.
Who can benefit from Kinesiology?
The kinesiological approach is helpful to people of all ages who are in a state of physical or emotional pain, who suffer from stress or who want to get to know themselves better and make progress in their personal evolution.
One individual session takes about 90 minutes. For one particular problem, allow for a minimum of 3 sessions with intervals of 2 to 3 weeks.
The training consists of several modules, each lasting 2, 3 or 4 days. The modules can be taken separately but need to be taken in the right order.
